Sneak Peak: Fall 2020 Trips!

Fall 2020 Trips!

By Bryn Wooten

After a long summer spent alone and indoors, we’re looking forward to an adventurous semester packed with socially-distanced outdoor trips. We have something for everyone on our trip schedule, so if you’re looking for the perfect weekend getaway, read on!

Keen to try your hands (and feet) at climbing? We’re sponsoring two late night climbing events this semester (Sep 25 and Oct 23), and they’re both completely free! Come with a buddy or make new friends on the wall with us!

Are you more of a water person? We’re running several paddle trips and clinics (Sep 26, Oct 3, Oct 24, and Nov 21) at Bayou St. John, Blind River, and Cane Bayou. Join us to explore the beautiful waterfronts and swamplands of southern Louisiana.

If you’re up for more socializing, our hikes will help you get to know Tulanians from other majors and programs. Explore local wilderness areas with us on Oct 10, Oct 18, and Nov 15.

Still searching for the perfect adventure? Swing by our S’mores with Outdoors and Adventures Sessions happening throughout the semester, or test out our newest program feature: Adventure Consultants and Adventure Coaches! Adventure Coaches will provide you with one-on-one instruction and skills-based training in paddle sports, camping, and backpacking. If you need trip inspiration, Adventure Consultants will assist you with renting gear and learning its proper use, plus planning all the details of your trip. The opportunities are endless!

See you outside!
